What can I say about Gener8? Gener8 is something I spotted as an advert ironically, when browsing social media and i'm for sure glad that one wasn't blocked out! Gener8 is a simple browser add-on that blocks all those unwanted pop ups and adverts from your browsing, replacing them with cute pugs - while earning points to redeem on a range of items! I can't recommend this add-on enough! For the sake of signing up, installing and just continuing to browse as usual and being rewarded for doing so. There's really no downside to it! PS... Remember to follow their social medias to stay alert on when items will be restocked on the marketplace! I was unaware of this originally, and I was definitely missing out!

Easy to install and use, points go up at a good level, which sounds like it's rewarding and useful. However, lack of market stock has essentially meant I have no use for these points at the moment. As and when this changes, I'd definitely rate this higher, but at the moment, it's not really adding the value that it's sold as having.

I initially went into this skeptical of the claims of making enough 'points' to be able to claim any kind of reward. I also expected to be inundated by more ads, pop ups etc. Upon registering and using the extension, I immediately saw an advert on a site I was on become a pug. Usually ads slow my browser speed down but this actually loaded faster. Ok...so actually I kind of prefer this. So I navigated to one of those Facebook links (you know the ones, titles like '20 pics of dogs being borkiful' kind of thing) knowing they're always chock full of ads that make me grate my teeth in frustration, to test it out. While I did still get a bit of lag as the plethora of ads loaded, to my delight the entire web page was full of pugs or mountains (sometimes even motivational messages). No more grossly obnoxious adverts and no issues from using an ad blocker! So I did a week of my normal browsing, in and out of my usual sites plus the trash articles on Facebook to rack up some advert exposure. By the end of the week I've accrued almost 200 tokens, 50 of which I have already spent on a £5 Amazon voucher. I don't know exactly where Gener8 are going with their business but so far, this is a really encouraging venture. If it remains as positive and genuine with rewards as it is so far, I'll definitely be remaining part of the project. I'd much rather get paid to look at pugs than not get paid to use an adblocker.

A non-intrusive extension that has the potential to be great. Stock is very limited on the gift cards though, I haven't been able to redeem one yet. Always the option to donate to charity though which is nice.
