The Devs are lying when they say competitors are smearing their names, because as someone who's been using this for around 2 years, I can safely say, the 'Update your Chrome Browser' popups, are the most bloody frustrating things I can imagine. Shame on you Devs for not listening to your users, and instead lying to people. You should be fully ashamed of yourselves. Only reason you get two, is bc the functions on Youtube have always worked.

When I started using this a few years ago, I would have reccomended it to anyone. Now it keeps claiming that "Your Chrome is out of date, you should upgrade it to a newer version". It's been doing this for months now. Every time when I check in Chrome's settings I have information, that my browser is up to date. At best it's just an annoying pop-up, at worst it may be a link to a virus.

The app a year ago worked great and did everything as advertised, it had nice optimation options, simple controls, really it had the works; however, flashfoward to 2019 the app is opening new tabs with links/downloads to harmful malware.

So far, this extension is good... But it also has it's flaws that causes my Chrome "won't" update my browser, but it does update it in the background (if the system actually does so in the background, because even I installed a fresh copy of the Chrome itself, it doesn't do anything at all too)... First, I say this extension is good, because that's exactly how this extension works, make the player on YouTube looks a bit more advanced than usual... Although it does have some flaws on it that causes my laptop slowed down in most of the time, I simply fix it by disabling most of the features that this extension provided... But, I also say this extension has it's own flaws that causes my Chrome "won't" update my browser... It sometimes whines "Your browser is out of date!" or something else by itself while I open the Chrome like usual. Then, I clicked a button under that message, and while I checked the About section of my Chrome, it shows some error but with the reason of the update itself is still going in the background. I'm not sure if my browser actually updates it to the latest version by clicking that button under that "Your browser is out of date!" pop-up message. If that message is actually the cause of why my Chrome won't update my browser as it should be, I'd blame it anyway for causing my Chrome won't update it to latest version (unless my laptop is retired already with it's own Windows 7 operating system). Anyway, back to the whole aspects of the extension itself. Overall, this extension is good, other than that problem that caused my browser "won't" update my browser that makes me giddy up for a little.

Give you a lot of good options, but it does some shady things like telling you Chrome is outdated, creating pop-ups about it I have to close, now I get that tabs are magically opened on my browser telling me with big white letters on a red page that there's something wrong with my security... I don't like it anymore. The extension isn't worth the pop-ups and fake warnings.
