This app is shadowbanned. Can't access it directly on Chrome as it doesn't appear as an option. That's a HUGE endorsement that it's one of the best. Anytime Google hides something from you, you know it's something to consider. Google's only in it for $$ and they want to control your options/freedom of thought. So a shadowbanned product is definitely a good one.
When I search for this in the extensions store, it doesn't come up on the results. I have to search to find it on google. Interesting. There are a few quirks, but easily overlooked. I especially like that you can set playback speed for odd increments. Would be great if we could move the control bar to any corner, but that's a small thing.

good extension, dev needs to suck it up and make it open source though. keeps complaining about not being able to work on it efficiently when he has an obvious solution in front of him. other extensions are doing this to combat the unnecessary amount of work that YT requires upkeeping an extension such as this. it's getting quite obvious that things are starting to break due to the lack of upkeep on the dev's side. that being said, this is still a very usable extension. i just don't see that lasting if the dev continues to keep the source closed and work on it completely alone.
Despite the recent changes to YouTube and the fact that adblock functionality seems to be detected by YouTube, I think this is still a must-have and most of the functionality still works, at least on the latest stable Brave. Custom default quality settings, floating player, auto-theatre mode, expanded descriptions, shorts display in normal player; all of these are as good as ever. Just disable the built-in adblocking features and let that be handled by either Brave or uBlock Origin, and it works perfectly.
extremely helpful i use it everyday. it kind of seems like it got shadowbanned from the store at least at the time im writing this.
Does anybody know how to get that "expand" feature working again? Or is there some other extension with same function? That's been one of the best things about this. It's what the native YT Theater mode should be, but miserably fails at...
Worked perfectly until today yt detect it.
I didn't realize this was also an adblocker until I checked and saw uBlock was disabled the whole time. The adblock in here works even better than other plugins, and YT cant detect it! Also the little features like changing the theme color makes people ask how I did that.
