This extension prevents the sites you specify from appearing in Google search results.
You can add rules on search result pages, or on sites to be blocked by clicking the toolbar icon. Rules can be specified either by match patterns (e.g. *://*.example.com/*) or by regular expressions (e.g. /example\.(net|org)/).
You can use this extension in several search engines other than Google. The list of supported search engines is available at:
https://github.com/iorate/ublacklist#supported-search-engines
You can synchronize rulesets across devices via cloud storage. At the moment, Google Drive and Dropbox are supported.
You can also subscribe to public rulesets. Some subscriptions are listed on the website:

Thank god I can block all the damned paywalled sites from my results. I'm not going to pay to view a damned news article. Seriously screw those sites.
Только начала пользоваться, и пока ни каких проблем нет. Очень, Очень! долго хотела установить подобное расширение и вот наконец-то. У меня главная проблема была в том, что при изучении японского языка(поиска объяснений грамматики) часто попадались сайты на китайском языке, увы на которых я ни чего не понимала, поэтому очень долго хотела либо какой-то фильтр, либо самостоятельно блокировать сайты, чтобы они не появлялись при результатах поисках. Кидать жалобы было бы не уместно, так по факту ни чего плохо они не делали и не несли.
Works great for normal results, however the "videos" results preview displays a "block this site" link that isn't clickable. When I try to click it, no matter what, it opens the link I'm trying to block instead. Even tabbing to the specific block link instead of the larger container does not work. Needs an update to work with Google's new results UI.
Works great for blocking annoying paywall websites from appearing in my search results (Google, Bing, Startpage, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia).
