Hover your mouse over any image on the supported websites and the extension will automatically enlarge the image to its full size, making sure that it still fits into the browser window.
This is an open source version of the original HoverZoom extension which is now overrun by malware and deleted from store. In this version all spyware has been removed, many bugs were fixed and new features were added. It doesn't collect any statistics by default. The only permission it needs is to access data on all websites (to extract full images), and *optional* permissions to access browser history, download/save images or get tab urls for per-site configuration.
Sometimes sites change design and when it happens extension needs to be updated. Please report any issues with zoom not working by using Support tab or https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues page.

When trying to watch a video, a default title shows up over the video for a good 10-15 seconds, blocking part of the video. I don't understand how they could overlook this.

Hello ! this extension not working now :( please fix the issue.i love this extension very much i need it .
What kind of malware was detected in the original Hover Zoom? I still have it installed and Malwarebytes nor Windows Defender has said a word. I have done multiple scans over the past few months, and they returned clean each time. The extension itself doesn't look very suspicious either. For all we know it could have been a free antivirus product that detected a false positive, which caused the reviews to blow up including the extension along with it.
