WHAT IS GRANOLA?
Granola is the AI notepad for people in back-to-back meetings. Take notes during your meeting while Granola transcribes in the background, without a bot joining your call. Afterward, your notes and the transcript come together into one clear, actionable summary. You stay present. Your notes stay sharp.
BEAUTIFUL NOTES, ZERO EFFORT
• Accurately transcribes meetings and phone calls, even in noisy environments
• Lets you stay focused on the conversation instead of taking notes

Lucky 7th reviewer. Good job Granola team. Don't know how it works but assume Google Meet passes metadata on which attendee is speaking for you to match it up. Smart thinking! It is truly a problem to have to correct who among "them" it is!
When I was added to the beta, everything worked perfectly. The extension correctly recognizes who is speaking
UPDATE: IT WORKS! I don't know why you guys pushed the notifications about this extension without clear instructions that it's a beta feature. For anyone else wondering: 1. Opt into the beta version of Granola via the Preferences settings > Labs > Join beta 2. Restart Granola 3. Go to Settings → Preferences → Labs and click on Speaker attribution From there on, the extension started working for me. Granola, thank you for the product – it's an incredible tool!
Edit: Got the feature enabled and have now tested, the speaker attribution in Google Meet transcripts is working great so far, thanks Ross and the rest of the Granola team, love your work! Original, now outdated, review: Currently doesn't seem to work at all, it won't show anything but "Not connected" for me. Genuinely not sure if I've stumbled upon this pre-release, if so I'm happy to change the review once it starts working!
Granola.AI IS TOTAL awesome.
