Beep is a voice feedback Chrome Extension that allows you to record and listen to voice notes and audio comments all within Google Classroom, Google Docs, and Gmail.
You never need to leave Google Classroom, Google Docs, or Gmail to record and play the voice notes. Easily replicate one of the most essential parts of the in-person in-classroom experience in a remote learning setting - it's the missing piece in digital education.
🤔 Why voice feedback?
Voice feedback can take the friendliness and ease of in person feedback without the logistics of in person meetings and without the difficult and time consuming work of writing pitch-perfect feedback. It's a great tool for bridging the gap in "distance learning" and "remote teaching."

Nhanh, tiện, rất dễ sử dụng!
I work at an online school that uses google for most of its assignments. I have loved utilizing this extension for my students with special needs. We have some that are unable to type, and often speech to text does not pick up what they are trying to say properly. The ability for them to answer questions on their assignments in a way that doesn't take much effort, and their teachers can hear exactly what they are trying to say is invaluable! It reduces the amount of 1:1 support they need and they can be more independent.
A good tool to quickly embed in G/classroom to provide feedback. However, at times, after processing the recording, the link disappears and can't be found for copying into a comments box. It would be great to have this glitch removed.
Excellent tool to provide feedback to my students.
Love it! I've been using audio feedback and am so glad to find something that works seamlessly with Google Classroom. And it works well with AudioRelay to use my phone as my mic.
Eina molt útil per facilitar el feed-back amb els alumnes.
Great experience and very useful
love this app. i can feel the conversation with the students and it adds a personal touch
Recomendo imenso!
The best thing about this app is that I saw immediately in Google Classroom that students were listening to these recordings, because they wrote detailed, thoughtful replies without prompting. I have decided to do audio comments a lot more, because students will listen! Getting the app to load and figuring it out was less pleasant, but definitely worth the struggle. Also, if you open up Classroom to the point where you see the document, the app will paste DIRECTLY into the comment rather than the teacher needing to copy and paste the link. That said, there's a point where it stops working and you lose the recording, so be careful!
