This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.
Permissions explained:
1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work
2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Perfect, I had a lot of duplicates following a sync issue. This extension shows duplicates, empty folders and makes it easy to delete. 5/5 will definitely use again
A must have extension. I especially need it because Chrome has sync issues when on multiple devices that cause to create duplicate bookmarks and folders.
功能很实用，有个遗憾的地方是只能显示网址而不是显示书签名称
When searching for duplicate bookmarks the extension merely called up random bookmarks of mine as duplicates. I opened the exact backup I saved to my desktop and performed three CNTRL+F 'find' searches for a simple keyword from one bookmark Bookmark Cleanup purportedly said was a duplicate....no additional instances of the unique keyword was found. Also Chrome Web store and this Boosey extension made me re-install the extension JUST to write a review. Do as the developer says and BACKUP your bookmarks if you're foolish enuff to try this extension.
