This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.
Permissions explained:
1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work
2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Works as it should ! Since I have like 500+ duplicate bookmarks after importing from FFox, it would be nice to be able to separate them in one folder only and delete that bunch with one click; but voila ! There is a little button that will let you delete in bunches from the same folder - problem solved.

Somehow either Chrome or myself managed to duplicate almost all my bookmarks, this tool cleaned up the duplicates in seconds.

Nice application, but becomes useless when we don't know what folder the bookmark is from, and also can't edit the bookmark from "Bookmarks clean up".
