This chrome extension helps you highlight text and add comments on web pages and PDF files. It is a practical browser extension for students, researchers, and professionals who work with websites daily.
🧩 How It Works:
Select text and a floating button appears. Click it to create a persistent highlight. Click again to open an annotation bubble where you can add or edit comments and change colors. A side panel shows all annotations.
For rapid work, turn on Annotation Mode so every text selection instantly becomes a highlight. Power users use hotkeys: hold Alt or Option while dragging, and Enter or Esc to save or cancel notes.

Perhaps there is a conflict with another app, but the markup pen does not appear on highlighted text, and there is no way to force it (e.g. shortcut) to enter a note.
simple and functional
would be nice to have a right click menu to pause/play and delete all and secondly to make custom colors that can be selected to be able to automatically cycle them with each highlight
The application is 5 stars definetely. Just one little thought about the extension. If it uses the memory of the computer, maybe a pictures can be inserted into the notes? But I really don't want the app to lose its simplicity and straight-forward approach. It is perfect as it is
Very slick! I love the annotation sidebar. It really differentiates this extension from other, either more complicated or less functional annotation extensions. Are the annotations able to be exported in a way that can be imported into the browser of another computer?
Simple, straightforward, and useful. Does exactly what you expect from it. Thank you for implementing a separate list of all highlights from all sites, was worried at start if it exists. As a suggestion may be having a custom marks grouping would be helpful, for example, to collect reviews for some item.
