I do really like this button as a concept, although I find myself using the desktop app much more. As a self-employed consultant, Toggl is an excellent tool if you actually use it. It's just a shame that compliance is very difficult, and that's been the biggest challenge for me. I do get my remote team to use it as well though, and it would be great to see a more manager-friendly way of viewing their time logs. That would earn the 5th star from me.

Excellent add on to a Chrome browser to keep track of time for billing a customer. I especially like the button on incoming emails. This reminds me to start my time on an issue intermediately. Just wish I had found it earlier.

Je l'utilise tous les jours pour mon travail. L'intégration dans certaines application TODO permet de lancer le compteur directement depuis vos listes de tâches, vraiment super pratique quand on est quelqu'un d'organisé. Je le recommande vivement. Je n'ai eu qu'un seul problème de synchronisation en plusieurs semaines, alors essayez-le ;)

For the past year, I have worked from home doing a mixture of things, including one day per week for an employer. I tried a number of options to track my time and help me manage it, but it is Toggl I've stuck with the longest. Although my employer isn't requiring me to track my time, I must do it so I can flex the hours without undermining my plans for other projects. Toggl is perfect for it's forgiveness when I forget to track or when I am multitasking and can then adjust manually. I also conduct a number of voluntary projects - as a board member or pro bono work with nonprofits - and so it is very useful for me to be more conscious of my time AND to give these 'clients' a realistic picture of what it takes to do the work, attend meetings, manage the website, etc This is key in their grantwriting and fundraising, as they can put a value on that work as in-kind donation.
