This extension allows you to send torrent files from your browser to your remote or local Bittorrent client's web interface.
It doesn't just send the urls to the WebUIs, but downloads the torrent and uses the file upload function of the UIs to add the torrent. Thus, it even works on private trackers that require cookies.
Currently, it supports several web interfaces, a full list can be viewed on the project page.
Per default, this extension scans any open page for links that match given filters and overwrites the download-action, but its functionality can also be accessed via a context menu.
Its filters are easily extensible using regular expressions via the options page, but a basic set of filters should work for most sites.

Works well with qbittorrent.
Worked fine, with one fatal problem. It always makes the .torrent file named "file.torrent" which is terrible because you lose context for what torrent it's for, and bad if you wan to continue seeding. I had downloaded several images for a new Raspberry Pi 2 box and was left confused later on when I wanted to go manage where the images and torrents were stored so I could keep seeding for others. Instead, use the DelugeSiphon plugin which preserves the original torrent filename (e.g. raspbian_latest.torrent instead of file.torrent).
It is an excellent extension and has worked fine for ages. But today after updating to OSX 10.11.4 the notifications stopped working. Using the "hit me" button inside the options page for testing doesn't do anything either. It is still sending the torrents to my seedbox but the notification messages just died. I hope this can be fixed.
Worked great until it didn't
То, что было надо. Добавляет, в частности, иконку в локальное меню для ссылок. Жалко только, что не открывается окно закачки uTorrent, чтобы выбрать куда качать и что качать.
Awesome!
precies wat ik zocht!
Works great... Thanks! Please add support for setting the label during the download. PS - For all of you who say it doesn't work/catch the download link. First, Chrome needs to be restarted. Second, check the RegEx.
If you could get rid of the useless error screen we've all lives with for years when adding to RUtorrent. That would be nice and would get you that missing fifth star.
It doesn't work with qBittorrent 4.0 anymore. I'm using Xirvik .torrent to seedbox uploader extension. Não funciona mais com qBittorrent 4.0. Uso agora a extensão Xirvik .torrent to seedbox uploader
