It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

updated v8.1 still notice have new version can update

Something is fishy. I got 8.1.0 but still the add-on says it's going to upgrade to.....8.1.0. Better turn it off.
new update is horrible. everything will be wiped out. the backup have to keep on using it. more hassle than the benefit
想当好用，使用起来简单高效。休眠后，能省内存，有回退历史栈。有些管理tab或者分组的软件要么只是简单的隐藏，内存还占用着。要么就是直接粗暴记录域名，但是会丢掉回退历史栈。 而且此插件还能配合其他分组插件用，直接互补了
这是个什么破更新？？！神奇了！你更新就更新，还提示已经冻结的那些标签干吗？你的扩展程序的机制是不是应该改改！在Chrome重启时更新即可，已经冻结的标签不用管它就是了，它们就是个网址而已呀！搞这么费劲，还提示什么“已经准备好了更新”，什么你先导出、备份！ 而且，关键是，如下面别人评论所说，更新了也还在提示！根本没更新成功！一直一个傻子站那里在提示“已经准备好了更新”！而且是Chrome的新版！并不是不兼容老版的问题。没测试好发出来干吗？ 更新时还居然一个个标签闪过一遍，你这是什么机制？！所有的扩展更新都是默默自己更新就是了，唯独你这个以骚扰用户为己任，而且还更新不成功！真费劲，还麻烦。
升级的提示一直存在，哪怕版本已经和最新的一致。 重新安装后就没了，不，是一直存在。
I love the app but, as a comment below pointed out, there is a continual prompting to update. Can't stop it! Hopefully the developers will read this and work on correcting it or letting us know what we can do.
update came out today. it doesnt work. wont stop prompting to update. this broke the extension. removing completely from my devices.
与vivaldi的工作空间根本不适配。一升级成功后，所有工作空间的标签都堆到一个工作空间中，366个页面啊，卡半天，而且我还得一个个把它们再重新移动到对应的工作空间上。这插件已经与时代脱节了！
