Does exactly what it says. The default options clean up most of the clutter, and it has plenty of tweak options if you want to allow some stuff through.
I've had the real FBP (this one, not the fake spammy version from fbpurity.net which is still on the Chrome site and probably listed below) for at least 3 years. It works like a charm to clean up or remove unwanted "features" in new facebook versions. I love it and I've never had a problem with it.
This one is the real deal. Don't be fooled by the fake one. If you use FB on a daily basis, this tool is indispensable!
I love this extension, it weeds out all of the stupidity on FB ad allows you to actually enjoy it... Over the years FB has become Crappy and draconian when it comes to ads. This extension helps make FB so much BETTER, don't fall for the fakes that Google won't remove and get the real thing!!
THIS IS THE REAL FB PURITY. BEWARE OF THE FAKE ALSO IN THIS WEBSTORE. Could not stay on Facebook without it.

The Best
This is an essential tool when on Facebook. Gets rid of the 'trash', ads on the sides, any extras that you would like to disappear, you can disable the chat box. You decide what you want to deal with on that site! Very nice! Love it!
Excellent tool that lets you set what Facebook shows you and hide it, so you can get some peace from everything you don't want to see anymore :)
