This extension auto-detects RSS feeds on the page you are reading and upon finding one will display an RSS icon in the Omnibox, allowing you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe.
The extension comes with 2 feed readers predefined (Bloglines and My Yahoo) but also allows you to add any web-based feed reader of your choice to the list.

It offered very few subscriptions sites. It used to be three. Today its only two--and very bad BTW.
Up until today, this extension had google as its default. Now, I can't use google reader to subscribe. Weird.

as a lover of all kind of rss i had to add this extension.but i also use the occasion to lodge my protest against google decision to shut reader down,the best web reader that existed on earth and on which i spent hundreds of paid hours to build a formidable feed library that summarised the web for me.bring back the reader,google.there are millions mourning it.

Works great, very seamless.
I think there needs to be more default feed readers, especially now that Reader is dead. Feedly, the old reader, etc. Also, that list should be synced somewhere.
