It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

Excellent extension, must have in my opinion. Not only you can change speed by 0.1+/- from 0.07x up to 16x speed! Going back/forward 10 seconds is also cool. In my opinion the best thing that this add-on can do is e.g. if you watch "free" content thanks to watching adds 5 min ad before and 5 in the middle of thing. YOU CAN SPEED UP ANY ADs TOO, so now you watch 10 seconds instead of 5min. Awesome software I can't imagine working/learning/browsing internet without it.

It works absolutely great. The speed window is very small and can be closed. It's super useful for speeding up mandatory videos which normally don't give you speed controls and generally gives you way more control. I highly recommend.

Very good! Only one issue is that it doesnt pop up for my uni lectures using echo360. If that gets supported this is a five star.
