It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

Bilibili等站無法正常使用 Preferred speed
Recently having issues on sites like Plex and Youtube. It's started playing Plex videos on 0.07 speed. And with Youtube it restarts the speed to 1 every video now, instead of keeping the same speed. Usually works great but I'm assuming the latest update messed things up.
Worked great until latest update, so I'm reverting (for instructions, as mentioned in another review, see the fourth poster of this thread: https://github.com/igrigorik/videospeed/issues/1257)
been bugging a lot lately
Hat immer toll funktioniert, aber die neuste Version ist leider verbuggt, am besten auf die alte Version zurückgreifen, gibt's bei Github, wird hier erklärt (in Englisch) https://github.com/igrigorik/videospeed/issues/1257#issuecomment-3140619025 Einfach auf Erweiterungen gehen, Entwicklermodus einschalten, und dann auf Github die 0.7.4 als ZIP Datei runterladen, entpacken und dann im Erweitungstab auf, Entpackte Erweiterung laden, klicken und die Entpackte Datei mit der alten Version auswählen, fertig, nun funktioniert wieder alles.
更新後我是反過來的，其他網頁都可以加速影片，但就是Youtube不正常，加快減慢都不行……請調整回來！謝謝！
