It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

I love it, I can no longer live without - I haven't found a video service that it doesn't work on - I've used it Youtube, Netflix, school video recorder (Panopto), online streaming platforms, etc... Able to watch stuff up to 10X the speed and as low as .1X - I especially enjoy that I have more options than fractions, but can go the decimal and can use the keyboard to control it.
It's stopping YouTube videos from playing - if you disable it, they start playing again. Could you please check on this
Very intuitive and unobtrusive BUT..... it doesn't work on Netflix, which is the only website I downloaded it for. I will keep installed and try it on Funimation later but as it stands, the main site I want to use it for gives me an error code the second I try to speed it up. 4 stars for functionality and interface, but the Netflix incompatibility keeps it from being 5 stars

Just discovered this extension and I can't believe I never looked for this sooner! I wish playback speed was adjustable everywhere! I tested this in YouTube and Plex and this works perfectly.

WORST EXPERIENCE I WANT TH PLAY BACK TO REMAIN CONSTANT AT 2.7 AND I HAVE ALSO SET THE SPEED REMEMBER OPTION TICK AT EXTENSION SETTING BUT STILL AT EVERY VIDEO IT RESETS AT 1:00 BUT I WANT 2:7
