i love this app.
Pretty good but better when paired with Honey because Honey has coupons or offers that Capital One doesn't and vice versa. I've used both for about 5 months and in 3-4 transactions, I've saved almost $60 with Capital One + Honey, just under $73. That's pretty good for a lazy person! Cashback offers are in addition to sales/coupons, so at Soda Stream, they had 25% and at the same time Capital One offered me 22.5% cashback. So it's worth the savings, I think. But there is a huge con: you have to shop in your browser, not an app or mobile version. If you don't, the extension pretends your purchase didn't occur & receipts don't matter. It's a problem for eBay and Walmart in particular because their websites are almost unusable on a mobile phone, and if you load (attempt to load) Capital's clunky extension into Safari while on a really cluttered site like that, everything just crashes (fwiw i have iphone 14+). Using desktop browser is no problem & I've had no issues with receiving my cashback or anything, so just be aware of that massive limitation.
It said I'd get a $40 reward. It lied.
The end aim is to save $$; so we accomplished the purpose. The way to get it done is confusing though.
