This browser extension is designed to enhance your browsing experience by removing AI-generated overviews from Google search results. Recognizing that not all users appreciate the AI-powered summaries and insights which can clutter search results, this extension offers a clean, streamlined interface that focuses solely on traditional results, allowing you to easily turn off AI Overviews.

thank you - I hate that Google is forcing this GenAI search on users. There should be a way to disable it. Hiding it at least means I can search without having to scroll down a blob of useless AI generated rubbish. (btw Anyone else wondering how their input into search is being used to train this hideous Google Gen AI beast? Wonder if enough of us search on how to disable it the Google GenAI will become sentient and self destruct) Great work on giving us a way to take back at least some control of how we search by hiding the ridiculous AI generated results! ( I am using Duck Duck Go app on my phone and hope it never stoops t Google's level )

Does what it says! I wouldn't mind if Google's AI wasn't incorrect as often as it is. I tried Gemini, which claims to be able to search the web. I asked it several questions relating to TV shows. It told me things like that Fred Savage and Alyssa Milano starred in "Too Close For Comfort." Savage would have been 4 and Milano 8. Plus neither was ever on the show. The only question it answered correctly was to name the ship that took them all to Gilligan's Island.
