SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Great extension, great idea, but recently it doesn't work. When I click on submit nothing happens, it won't save the settings. Also, the extension doesn't allow you to edit your submissions, so if you've made a mistake, you can't correct it. It used to work great a couple of days ago, idk what happened. Until then, 2 stars from me, otherwise it would be 5 since i like the concept and the extension.

Самое главное расширение для браузера (как минимум для меня, потому что я 24/7 сижу в ютубе). Убирает в самих видео на ютубе всю рекламу, которую другие пользователи помечают как спонсор, самореклама и т.д. Надеюсь как можно больше людей узнают про это необходимое расширение т.к. оно реально много времени экономит, потому что больше не надо перематывать видео до нужного момента, всё делается автоматически.

Если у вас начал сильно тормозить Ютуб, то возможно дело в конфликте расширений, точнее блокировщика рекламы (AdBlock, etc.) и этого расширения. Решается отключением блокировщика на Ютубе навсегда. В некоторые блокировщики рекламы завезли функцию подобную SponsorBlock, поэтому расширения конфликтуют, что и приводит к лагам/багам и т.п.

Currently it works great and I have no issues with the extension. A few days ago for some reason when this extension is enabled it slows my browsing (both chrome and opera gx) and it slows youtube in particular horrendously. After disabling it, both browsing and youtube work great. I don't want to give it a 1 star review so please be kind and check the issue.
