SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Great extension that improves watching youtube by a ton. Lets me skip sponsorships and know how long unimportant sections are. No problems and surprised how quick new videos get set for this extension by the community.

So sad that the state of the world includes baking advertisements into what used to be charming personal homemade YouTube videos. But in such a world, SponsorBlock is the light that drowns out the darkness that is sponsored segments, so you need not waste your time with such blackness in your life,

Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
