SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Confesso que isso não conhecia, e sempre fiquei "pulando manualmente" os vídeos. Quando achei, meio sem querer não entendi bem no começo o que era, mas no primeiro vídeo que assisti, já ter pulado automaticamente quase 1/3 do vídeo e não ter o patrocinador do vídeo, já amei! Isso é Fantástico!!!!!

Très bonne application servant à mettre en évidence les abus effectués par les sponsors dans les vidéos mais également la partie "inutile" de celles-ci au publics pressés. Elle sert à préserver quelques secondes sur quelques vidéos, secondes par secones préservées on en va vite à une minute, puis deux, puis trois, etc... Fonctionne aussi bien en FR qu'en EN, très grand avantage. Merci aux développeurs de l'application.

YouTube videos contain embedded sponsor reads, self-promotion, intros, outros, and subscription reminders that waste viewers' time. SponsorBlock crowdsources segment timestamps so all users automatically skip these interruptions.

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.

Source JS files are minified/bundled, making exact line-by-line analysis harder, but key functions (generateUserID, onInstall handler) are clearly identifiable.
