SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

This used to be one of the best extensions out there. However, the server is down most days and for several hours. What's the point of having an extension that only works for a few hours?

Oh my God! I Absolutely love this extension. Youtube become more and more painful to watch last few years, even with premium. Only now I actually realized why, and how big part of most videos is an embedded sponsor/ad. This extension just solves the problem seamlessly.

Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
