Not a fan of the recent update. While it works for me (unlike for some people, it seems), they've removed options that previously existed, including the ability to hide an annoying badge count that shows how many trackers have been blocked on a website. Badge counts are one of the first features I turn OFF on any extension that has them. They are distracting to the eye and pointless. I emailed Ghostery about this, asking if I was just missing where to turn this off now, and received this reply: "The badger [sic] counter is a non removable feature in Ghostery 7." No apologies, no promises for change, just a middle finger. You know what isn't "non-removable"? Ghostery.

It's a great extension, but... I was hoping that with the addition to the login option that my blocking settings would be saved. I use local computers often and it's a pain to have to whitelist sites I trust and unblock widgets and what not. It wastes time and time is money.

I've been using Ghostery for a long time and IMHO, this is the best version of the extension yet. The new bigger panel makes it easier to see at a glance what trackers are present on the current website and it's also easier to check/uncheck blocking options. The developers have also added the ability to see which blocked tracker is causing a web page not to function correctly. That is a huge improvement over previous versions because it could take quite a long time to check/uncheck/reload the page to see which trackers, of which there are many on some websites, need to be unblocked for the web page to display correctly. I wouldn't go anywhere on the web without this extension being loaded and active in my brower.

Funktioniert Super und der Browser wird nicht langsamer wie bei anderen Blockern, erst einmal alles blockieren und dann nach und nach entscheiden wo man zulässt....

I've used Ghostery for quite a while. I was in love with version 6 and tbh I was taken aback by the new UI. But once I "got" the idea of the new interface it started working for me. It is so simple! You can simply turn off all trackers and Ghostery will tell you if the site is not working correctly ("broken pages") because of the trackers you've turned off and allow you to turn on just the trackers you need to get the site working. Very cool. There are some other features from v6 I'd like to see - like Beacons - but I hear they'll be back in a future version - all-in-all, this is a very good product with a simple, powerful interface.
