This rating is for the new version. It no longer prevents videos from playing automatically on websites.. example Brightcove player. This is despite the fact that the extension is blocking the player. There are obviously issues with this version. It needs correcting.
Seit dem letzten Update auf Version 8 wird nicht mehr vollständig geblockt und Chrome wartet die ganze Zeit auf Ghostery beim laden der Tabs. So ist es nicht mehr wirklich verwendbar.
Version: 8.0.0.34 has brought some problems with it. Comments(disqus) will not load unless paused completely. Even if I select nothing to be blocked, comments still will not load unless paused. Also interferes with email(hotmail) display unless paused. Not much use if it has to be continuously paused to access content. 12/15/2017 - Update to 8.0.0.2 (which came down without notification) seems to have corrected most of the problems I was having. Disqus comments now load properly and other page load times have been reduced.
Used it for years, but disabled it after almost every site was "waiting on ghostery". My load times have gone from sometimes more than a minute to seconds.
I don't know what did you messed up but since newest update it keep on resetting my youtube settings. Fix it ASAP and I will change my score.
Great, but it uses quite a bit of memory, please lower it.
Brilliant app, but the enhanced ad blocking seems to have problems with sites like Google and Skynews for example. I've had to disable this ad block to continue to work as before
Ghostery ist seit dem letzten Update ziemlich CPU-Intensiv. Wenn bei einer 4-Kern-CPU (4x3,0 GHz), bei aktiviertem Ghostery, alle 4 Kerne mit ca 40% ausgelastet sind ist das eindeutig zu viel....
