AI product readA 3D speedrunning platformer game that runs as a Chrome extension, featuring over 50 built-in levels, online multiplayer via WebRTC, custom skins, a creative level editor, and mod support.
Provides an accessible, browser-native 3D platformer game experience directly from the Chrome toolbar without needing to visit external gaming websites or install desktop applications. Works offline for single-player mode.
User clicks the Chrome extension icon to open the game popup. The main menu displays with volume controls, fullscreen option, Discord link, and a Play button. Clicking Play loads the 3D game (v1/index.html) built with Three.js and Rapier physics (WASM). Player selects levels from the campaign or community packs, controls a cube character through 3D obstacle courses, and can participate in online multiplayer races. Level editor allows creating and sharing custom levels.

- Target users
- Casual gamers looking for quick browser-based entertainment / Speedrunners who want to compete on leaderboards / Creative players who enjoy building and sharing custom levels / Chrome users seeking a lightweight offline-capable game
- The extension source is heavily minified/bundled (303 files, largest JS file is 848KB), making deep code analysis challenging but the overall structure and functionality are clear.
- Multiplayer implementation details are embedded in bundled WebRTC libraries and could not be fully traced, but no authentication requirement was found.
- The 'pro' naming in SVG asset filenames (button-play-pro.svg) and audio files (boxel-3d-pro.ogg) could not be fully explained but no paid gating mechanism was found in the code.
MonetizationNo paid features detected
No payment infrastructure detected anywhere in the extension. Zero matches for premium, purchase, pricing, payment, stripe, billing, or in-app purchase. All 'pro' keyword hits are false positives in WebGL shader code (projectionMatrix, projTexCoord, process, RECIPROCAL_PI) and library internals. The file 'svg/button-play-pro.svg' is simply the visual design asset for the regular 'Play' button (the main menu code shows it navigates to the game with no payment gate). The 'upgrade' keyword only appears in a changelog entry about upgrading a physics engine library version. The extension has no feature gating, no payment platform integration, and no upgrade prompts. The game is entirely free to play.

- Reason
- The extension is a self-contained 3D game that runs locally in the browser popup. The manifest only requests 'storage' and 'unlimitedStorage' permissions. The main application code (main-CkUTk6PW.js) contains no login UI, authentication flows, or account management. All keyword hits for 'login', 'signin', 'account', 'auth', 'session', 'token', 'jwt' are false positives: 'jwt' appears in base64-encoded metadata (verified_contents.json), 'account' appears in GLSL shader comments ('account for clip-space aspect ratio'), 'sign in' appears as WebGL shader port notes ('Changed sign in W component'), 'session' appears in WebRTC SDP handling for peer-to-peer multiplayer (not user accounts), and 'auth' appears in level JSON files as 'author' field names. The multiplayer feature uses WebRTC for peer connections without requiring user authentication. No external authentication hosts were detected.
I beat the game in 5 minutes ,too easy
level 29 was the hardest in my opinion
Great game
esta nice
the game is so easy
Massive review time. Very excellent remake of boxel rebound, and although a lot of people prefer boxel rebound, personally I like this one more. The level editor is very easy to use and has all the features in it. I love that you can have completely custom skins! Not that I don't like the default ones. I have completed every level a few times now cause it's pretty fun, took me a while to figure out you had to click on the alpha test levels, and I thought that grapple hook thing was just there to disable your jumps so you cant explore the level. I proceeded to beat 2 of the alpha levels without grapple hook by skipping the grapple button thing :/ Anyway, it's got pretty creative levels, much more than boxel rebound at least but I guess that's because of the new features like gravity and all that. Quality change thing is a little lazily made as it just pixelates stuff but I guess there's only so much you can do with such a low graphics game, no offense, low graphics don't make a game bad most of the time, it's a style thing. Suggestions: I'd really like to see more levels that utilize the grappling hook, which i'm assuming is going to happen without mentioning it. I've always liked games that use grappling hooks like swingman and all that. More levels in general! It would be epic to have an inbuilt browser for community levels in the popup, although im unsure if that's possible. For level editor, I kind of wish it was a tad more obvious where the void would kill you because I kept accidentally making levels that dipped too low and it kills you if you go to a certain part. Maybe make it so the void auto-matically shifts itself lower as more stuff gets built lower down. The geometry dash level editor has this swipe mode option which is essentially just a simple drag and select objects kind of thing, and it would be a little nice to have that in the editor too. Maybe not in this game, but if for whatever reason a new boxel game is made, give it multiplayer! Even just 2 players would be exciting, i'd like to play these kinds of cool games with other people. I mean maybe not online multiplayer, but maybe local joining or even 2 people on the same device which might be the most simple. Now i'm not sure how the multiplayer would actually work, but I think most people can somewhat imagine what I mean. Ghost mode would be a nice addition, some toggle that shows where I went in my highscore best of that level. A few games where you have to beat a level or whatever as fast as possible have one of these so it would be interesting to see it in this game too. One thing that generally lacks with the 50+ extension games that I have is that they have no achievement system! I would really like to unlock stuff or gain ingame currency to buy things, but i've barely seen it anywhere and in this game it would be very cool. However since skins are limitless here, you cant really have skins to be unlocked. Maybe even just extra levels or something, I dunno. Maybe this isnt exactly the right kind of game to have it. Also is rebound a ditched game now that this is a thing? Or you working on both. I haven't seen updates from either game in a while, and I do check every day just incase. Also a few people may have already mentioned this but a lot of the levels can be cheesed to get insane times. Not that i'm complaining, and u dont have to fix them. Also also, some levels do require a bit of memory, i know people complain about this but its honestly not too bad. Final review Graphics: 3/10 Gameplay: 8/10 Cleanliness (Not buggy?): 10/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Originality: 7/10 Concept: 8/10 I'll probably remove this whole "Final review" thing in my reviews of stuff, it seems a little pointless. Also Jacob DeBe if you're reading this, have a nice day.
Nice work!
nice
I love it
