The add-on is super, but please REMOVE the number 0 from the notification icon. It's confusing when you are away from the screen and see that there is a number and can't see the number and think that you have email.

Its really quite good! BUT the new 10th September update with the 0 for no mail is annoying! Please remove it!
I hate to pile on here, but showing a zero is causing a lot of confusion for all of us. We've been trained firstly to recognize the presence of a badge, and to understand that the badge's presence means there is mail. Only after that thought lodges in our brains do we then decide to see how many new emails exist. Showing zero is cognitively dissonant. We recognize the badge to mean we have new mail. But when we then take the second step to see how much, we realize there is no mail. A second or two wasted, and a false promise made...
Very handy!
I like this app, but it seems to be updating inconsistently. Sometimes it will show nothing, sometimes it will show a 0 when there are new messages. Very useful regardless, I'd recommend.
Great to be updated about your new emails. But last release with the "0" instead of nothing next the "M" of gmail is confusing. Before, I used to scanned quickly the little icon and see just the "M". I knew there was no email, and when there was any little red circle number next to it, just clik on it and chek my inbox. Now with the "0" i have to check twice visually to be sure that is a "0" and not an "8" or any other number. Just a tip guys!
Used to love it before the last update (September 11, 2012). Now I hate it (but still using). Now it shows a zero number in a red box if there are no new emails. And it is hard to say at the first sight if it's zero or some other number. Please remove that zero - show just plain envelope as before. It is really a bad user experience now. Thanks in advance!

Up until now I thought this was the perfect addon, but the most recent update displays a "0" all the time. I was used to being notified by the slightly different look whenever I got an email, but now it looks the same all the time. I sincerely hope this change will be reversed. Otherwise I still love it!
