This is a great extension, but unfortunately it has just decided to tell me when there are 0 items in my inbox, so i cannot quickly glance and see if I have mail by simply checking if the number badge is present. It is there all the time now! :(

The plugin was perfect before the 0 occurred. Please remove it ffs, its SO irritating!

not working anymore since the latest update (sep. 11 2012), please fix...
In the beginning I absolutely loved it, but since a short amount of time, the sign keeps saying one unread message for way too long. After 5 minutes after reading my e-mail, the sign still says that I have one unread message.
its not working for me its greyed out all the time even when I have mail. no option to change the email account. clicking the icon doesn't do anything. don't know what's wrong but totally not what i expected

not working anymore since the latest update (sep. 11 2012), please fix... I get some warning in the Dev panel: There were warnings when trying to install this extension: 'background.persistent' requires Google Chrome dev channel or newer. 'alarms' requires Google Chrome dev channel or newer.
Just when the 0 unread mail problem got fixed, I could rate and leave a comment here. I got confused with the 0 mail problem for two days and wanted to report this as a bug but I COULDN'T rate any extension in my Chrome. Finally, both problems are fixed. Yeah!
