It was fine until recently. New updates caused the extension to not check the mail or display a greyed out icon. Strange. Going manually to Gmail web site seems to resolve the problem, but after a few minutes - it's back again. Again it's showing information that's an hour (or more) old or just greyed out icon. Now, this extension is useless to me. I'm using latest stable Chrome.

It's very practical, but after I read my mails it takes a very long time to switch back to "no mails" - status
Takes long time before app update count of mail being unread even when they are all read already.
It was a 'five star" extension, but now, it always shows me 1 unread message. Before this problem, it showed to me a 0 unread message - that was a confusing, because when you saw little red square, that means you have a new message without focusing on the number of unread messages. Please fix it... then I can give you 5 *
What happened? The extension was doing so great but lately, the email notification remains the same even if I already read the email.
There's a major bug right now where it doesn't update the number. It would be a tolerable temporary bug if they had a way to manually check/update the number as a workaround. Anyway, I'm using a different extension. It really is a pity, as it used to work wonderfully and I'd love to use the official extension from Google.
