This extension doesn't do much The other app called "Checker Plus for Gmail" seems more sophisticated and useful.

Cool, mais faudrait pourvoir checker plusieurs comptes Gmail en même temps.
Great extension, but it's not as usefull as it might have been... to me at least. And that's because most of the time it's signed-off, so it doesn't really show me live status. One time I didn't click on it for two days and it didn't notify me even once, even though there were several unread emails. Another gripe I have with it is the counter - it doesn't reset upon clicking. I've seen the notification, clicked on it, checked the mail, closed gmail, and the counter still shows unread email. It's a good tool, I like it, but I know it can do better.

In theory very useful extention however in reality it gets 'grey' soon after I close the gmail tab. Perhaps it's caused by the 2-steps verification i enabled for my account but still it shouldn't work this way.
