Usually worked great! A few times the number would get stuck. Today, it hasn't changed from a reading of 2, even though there isn't anything in my inbox. If it isn't reliable, I think I'll look for something else.
Update it with new tab behaviour.

Leider stimmt die angezeigte Zahl ungelesener Nachrichten nur selten... da sollte Google nochmal nachbessern, so schwer wird dieses Problem nicht zu beheben sein. An gmail geht meiner Meinung nach kein Weg vorbei
Really cool app, notifies how many messages are unread. Extremely useful.
Need multi acct sign-in then its perfect.
Has worked well, but since Gmail started the tabbed categories "Primary, Social, Updates" view of the Inbox, clicking on the Inbox button from the single email view off of the Mail Checker alert does not fully load the inbox view. One has to manually click on the Inbox left nav again to see the right panel loaded. Are you able to correct this?
Fails to notify me anything if I don't have Gmail open in one tab.

I loved this app, but it no longer updates your unread mail count since Gmail switched to the new inboxes.
