This is great, but you should be able to look at the e-mails in whatever tab you are in instead of having to go to a new tab just to see the e-mails you have.
i need it to show my mail count for another gmail account because the one im logged into on chrome is the one that gets all the junk mail.

A great extension! I just could not do without it!!
I seem to be getting a lot of grey coloured icon with a "?" even though I'm logged in.

Feature request: ctrl+click the menu button to open a second instance of gmail in a new tab. Thanks!
Security? You have to leave your browser logged in all the time in order for this to work. Leaves me to wonder whether other extensions or pages can access your gmail as well when this extension is "on". I'd rather not find out the hard way, so I won't be using this. This is really a poor substitute for the old Google notifier.
