I've been using the mail checker for several years now and do like the indicator to let me know that I have new messages. My only gripe is that it seems to "disconnect" multiple times while I am using my chromebook, which kind of eliminates the usefulness of the add-on. Not sure if it's a glitch or not? Would love to see this app better stabilized.

It's not too shabby, but it's also not very useful. The slow update speed and lack of desktop notifications make this an inferior solution compared to simply leaving Gmail open in a pinned tab and enabling Unread Message Icon in Settings > Labs. I can't recommend it.
Does this only update when I actually go in to gmail?

Would be nice if it supported checking more than one account. Some of us have more than one, one being for professional use and another one for everything else.
Nagyon hasznos, de sajnos már harmadszor kellet újraraknom, mert megbénult, egyáltalán nem működött. Ilyenkor letörlöm, majd újra telepítem és utána tökéletesen működik.
