Why is this thing SO SLOW to update? Gmail Notifier worked great, but Google Mail Checker manages to get "setting an integer" wrong somehow. It may take minutes to update and tell you that you have a message, but then after you READ the message it frequently can't figure out it's been read. Only solution is to go to your Inbox root (not some message!) to force it to recheck.
Would be great if there was an option to choose which "tab" the checker displays... keeps on showing me all of them, which amounts to 5000+ emails... Not really useful.
Haven't really had any problems with it... but it counts emails going to my social and promotional tabs. I don't care about those tabs. That's why they're there. I want this to notify me of main inbox emails ONLY. Also, why can't we click on the options button on the right click menu? It's greyed out. Please update. Thx. (Google Notifier was better)

ne marche plus bien du tout, elle reste en gris constamment !!
It simply does not work as I expect it to. The notification icon does not change at all during a single browsing session. I find myself going to my gmail account when the indicator shows no number, see five new email and only then does the indicator bump up to five. This is completely useless.
