La idea es buena aunque sería más útil si se pudiese configurar para que te notificase solo de las bandejas de correo que tu quisieses.
Just installed today. Missed the fact I should click it and let my gmail load. Minute I did it gave me my count. So, so far so good!
Sometimes actually does it's work, but there should be option to get notification only from primary mails, not these social media/ad junk. It also shows the mails even when I already read them.
Why there is no new mail numbers
None of my extensions will work when I click at the top where the extensions are!!! At first it worked but now it doesn't What's wrong?

2888 msg non lus... quel est l'intérêt de cette info. L'icone ne change pas quand un mail arrive. Pas de notification à la réception d'un mail, ne sait pas tourner en arrière plan... ..nul.
