Simple. Light. Convenient. Customisation. Perfectly integrated with Brave browser. Convenience at your click with Customisation that suits you. Instead of double clicking/selecting a word and then doing 'search for'... which opens a new tab; both time and resource consuming. Google Dictionary can now just show the meaning when you double click a word, you can also set a trigger key if pop up windows for every word double-clicked is kind of annoying for you. I am pretty content with this extension. Thank you, mighty Google! :)

Excellent plug in. When my kids are browsing the net, when they need the meaning of any word, they used to highlight it, right click, search web to get the meaning. Now, with this extension, its just high light, immediately we are getting its meaning(really helping to read the online content with less friction when unknown words falls across). Even I download our words history from this plug in. Excellent plug in. Thanks Google. I am looking for a additional feature of "Add this word to my dictionary" where, I can build my own word bank to download/read it online on my Google account. Now I am writing the word and definition on a note pad. If I had this word bank built into my Google account/local text file, I can continue to build our own, local word bank.

Works flawlessly between languages, which is why i havent moved to any alternative, since it does mess up a few words due to a smaller DB than before (people say it used to do wikipedia, but it doesn't anymore) also they have a catergory on the webstore for applications by google, but yet this one is one that isn't marked by google. curious.

This is the most foolish extension I have ever used. I litrally need to type the word and then get the results. What's the use when u need to do all the donkey work? It's like searching on the web itself! The extension is simply futile

I have been using this extension for years, generally, no problem. However, it would be a huge plus if a search entry — especially a word which one doesn't know the exact spelling to — would return an auto-correct or "did you mean" suggestion. For instance, I heard the word "accolade", I don't know how it is spelt exactly, and if I enter "acolaid" or "acolade", it would return "No definition found". Instead, it would be nice if it were to return, "did you mean, accolade?" and show the term. Yes, one can click on "search the web for "<misspelt word>", but that's an extra step and doesn't necessarily help one find the right word. Thank you.

tried to use it for translating german words to russian, in "pop-up" and by extension "define" button translation is wrong, if click "more" on pop-up translation on google-translate is correct.
