Great job with this. Just one specific thing I need- is it possible to release an app version that allows you to assign a shortcut to opening an app (including Crostini apps)?

This is most excellent! At some point shortcuts for scriptlet-bookmarks stopped working, but luckily you can just make a javascript-based shortkey-entry instead! :-)
Very promising, if I could get it to work. Probably my software: Windows-10 Insider Preview. Slimjet web browser (Chromium compatible). Second test was Google Chrome (portable, latest). Yet to test on Linux. Probably not my hardware: Dell XPS-15, i7, 16 GB DDR3, SSD, HDD, etc.
At launch the modal window was randomly jittering and stopped only on hitting save button. I have default zoom set at 125 percent on chrome.
produces following console error: Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received. took me a while to figure out it was this extension. feel kinda shady?
