Hi, I tried to create a short cut being ctrl+c to create a new window for chrome, instead of command+n, because command+n just makes a new window of whatever browser I'm in... and I'd like a keyboard short cut to create a new Chrome window when ever I want... but it didn't work... Can someone tell me what I did wrong? Thank you :)
I put 7 shortcuts I wanted to disable on chrome into shortkeys and added the behavior "do nothing" to them so that they wouldn't work. I disabled ctrl+o, ctrl+u, ctrl+e, ctrl+s, ctrl+n, ctrl++, and ctrl+- and after I saved, restarted chrome and made sure the extension had every single permission I could give it, I tried every single shortcut I disabled and they all worked fine, none were disabled. These were the only shortcuts I wanted to disable and none of them were disabled when I used shortkeys to disable them. Very frustrating. I am sure it works with some shortcuts but my experience with this extension was less than pleasing as it didn't work with any of the ones I wanted it to.
None of the set shortcuts work.
dosen't work lol i want diable STRG + W, hahahha dosent work lol
Doesn't work. Chrome ctrl functions still work even when setting them to "do nothing"
Waste of time, lost all tabs trying to restart and use this!!!!
April 25th 2021: I only use this for simple keyboard shortcut which are directly accessible through chrome://extensions/shortcuts . I've not tried the javascript features but from other reviews it looks like they're amazing. It works perfectly for me Edit: April 16th 2021: Started using the custom shortcuts features and it's beaut. Should've done this sooner
I've just started using Shortkeys and instantly loved it. It's feature rich using many very smart concepts. The usability is very good, and also the design, even the docs are very good. Thanks for building it!
