It does what it's supposed to and does it well Update for a June 10th reply: Periodically, the entered 'text' was not being saved. I believe my issue was a result of switching to another tab before exiting the current tab I was working in but I'm unsure. To remedy this situation, periodically select all text and copy then...proceed. If lost upon exit, you have a copy in your clipboard, however, I have never had to restore using the clipboard content.
Exactly what I was looking for! Simple note taking accessible anywhere I use Chrome. Thank you so much!
I am very disapointed I used it to study half the chapter i got it stored on chrome notes and eventually my gmail signed out of chrome and when I logged in again I can't find my notes its blank !!! any updates ? where does it store it ? how can I retrevie my notes ?

I hope developers try to develop this extensions. Not only this app has dark mode but also abilty to open in a separate window (I have found no other notes extension that meets both these requirements except Google Keep which is a PWA). What I want to see is ability to create a shortcut for this window so that I can open it from taskbar without having to go to chrome's extension tray.
