Youtube Custom Speed lets you play any Youtube video at any speed you like, from 0.0125x to 16x!
Use the options menu to set your preferred playback rate values. Then, change the speed using buttons at the bottom of the video. It also cooperates with the default Youtube keyboard shortcuts - Shift + , and Shift + .

cool, but not perfect. 1) add a checkbox for the rewind behavior on the keys. the problem is that the rewind range on the keys does not correlate with the playback speed, that is, even if I have 3x, the rewind will be 5 seconds, instead of 15 seconds. and also on J and L it will be 10 seconds, instead of 30 seconds. 2) add a checkbox to disable the buttons in the player and make them default, inside the "gear" button
It works well, is customizable, and even works on ads, though I wish you could go past 16x.

Works as advertised. Depending on browser, it sometimes doesn't load, but that affects other extensions for youtube too. Refreshing or hard-refreshing (shift+f5) sometimes fixes it. Some way to more easily reset to 1x speed would be useful. Perhaps by simply having the 1x option repeated at the bottom of the list. Other possibilities are a special interaction with the #x text itself (click/double-click/shift+click), or a separate keyboard shortcut.
