its relative utility its outweighted by its aggressive behaviour, injecting itself in google calendar and gmail interfaces as primary options for meeting planning
Generally works very well, but changing the default "Save" button on Calendar to be "Make it a Zoom Meeting" (instead of the standard 'Save') is pretty obnoxious. Kind of the definition of a dark pattern.
"Make it a Zoom Meeting" button is the default for all new events in Google Calendar, which is more cumbersome than helpful. Without this problem or with a way to change that setting, this would be a much better extension.
zoom meeting has always worked well for me i would recommend it for anyone is most comfortable way to get people to get for business.
Works really well. A little hungry on Chrome resources. Please address that in your next release
They rolled out a new version that makes "Make it a Zoom meeting" the default option for creating new events, in addition to this highly annoying "Upgrade to paid Zoom" for ALL meetings, even non-Zoom ones. So anti-customer.
EXCELENTE.
I've been using the Zoom Chrome extension for a couple of years, but recently something changed, in either the extension or in Google Calendar, and now the "Make it a Zoom Meeting" button is the default for all new events, which is rarely what I want, and it very annoying. I hoped to find a configuration setting to turn that off, but it's not there. It's disappointing that the extension has gone backwards in terms of its utility.
This app was installed throuhg Chrome before. For some reason, it disappeared! After getting the extension again, it asks that I log in through google or SSO only. I have only accessed my account through Facebook, so I can't log in and host meetings with my Personal Meeting ID that my clients and teammates have used forever.
Installed this extension... tried to login via google and i see this: "Failed to get Google user info (1 006)" and this is first time! what next? it will steal my info? it will broke my pc?
