It does not work with win 7
This extension needs an update.
The GOOG hasn't done anything with Google Voice or this extension since its release. I like the option Clear Data for "Try this if the extension isn't updating data correctly." 'tis the mark of true professionalism. "we don't know what's broken nor do we care, just reboot it if it flakes out". Great, really great!
This used to be great, but for some reason I can no longer make calls with it. Can no longer see who is calling either. Useless. This was my favorite.
Been using this for as a while, and still working great! I rarely have to go open another tab to the google voice page, except to put in some funds. Using this in conjunction with email notification. The android app is the must useless of the set.
well - it does not work but apart from that it is great
Was working great but I can only receive calls. But I can send and receive texts... and of course Google has gone to crap while tons of us have this same issue. I'm in the USA and not calling long distance...
Receiving calls via hangouts is easy. Receiving notices of missed calls and voicemail via the google voice extension and gmail is easy. Making calls from the extension via call-back to another phone (e.g. my home phone) is easy. Making calls with hangouts to phone numbers is not easy. Doing it from the google voice extension (which only gives Google Talk as the computer option) does not work at all. Trying to do it by typing or pasting in a phone number into Hangouts using the hangouts extension works but only sometimes and it is slow and counter-intuitive. If I can't simply click on a phone number in my browser or type a phone number into the extension and call someone with my computer just like that *snap* then this extension is not what I need. Please fix it or tell me to look elsewhere.
Simple, functional, unobtrusive. Can't get any better. Oh! doesn't iron my clothing!
