Works Great With google voice. Very Convenient to text, get voice mail, from my Browser. NOw if they just update it......
Does not work properly. It use to wok, no more. FOR someone that can't use there fingers, this is a errible non feature of gooogles. I have to use a stick to work on my new OS apple. Now, it does not work and i can't fix it.
Works OK. Could easily work great. But (1) Playing a voice message doesn't work because Chrome browser disables Adobe Flash, which it uses, and there's no way to enable it, and (2) "Go to Inbox" link takes you to legacy GV instead of voice.google.com.
It's now completely useless. Literally does nothing. It's basically just a link to GV now. No notifications, no inbox, no messaging...nothing. May as well delete it. It's pretty sad what Google has been doing since 2018. This used to be a great extension.
I've used this extension for YEARS, but by this point, it hasn't been updated since 2013 and the HUGE new overhauls from the most recent update to Voice overall are really making this extension feel less and less appealing. There's not a hint of Material Design here, it won't let you know if someone else sent a picture unless you're on the Voice site itself, and if some of these changes aren't addressed soon, I'm going to have to find myself another solution. Please, Google, don't abandon this extension; it's got the potential to be so much more useful!
Loved it until the last round of updates in early 2017. Still very helpful but nearly as user friendly.
I enjoy this extension and jumping into Google Voice has made texting so much easier! Enjoy seeing the calls I am receiving and what not! However, I think the extension should be updated as well to suit the needs of the app's new interface! Definitely a great extension though 💬🤓
Audio doesn't play... can't play my voicemail. Why Google Chrome won't play voicemail from Google Voice is beyond me but it seems absurd.
Is this planned to be updated to handle the google voice upgrade? Right now MMS look a bit strange, and many numbers within the address book show as 'Unknown'.
