Google voice is one of the best, most underused, offerings from google. I cant wait to see how this is further integrated and am always excited to see new updates.
The texts work fine. But I can't get outgoing calls to work.
Messaging is great, but I can no longer make calls. WTF! What happened?!?! Now I can only make Google calls from my iPhone, but not from computer. Makes no sense.
Now,due to Google hangouts, I can now no longer call telephone & cell numbers in Canada & the USA (I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada). Only possible with 3rd party apps (talkatone for example). Lose phone calling but gain video & sound (like Skype & FaceTime). Oh well.
Useless and worthless...doesn't work...Skype works better than this trash anyday!!!...Google you can do better!!!...You should be ashamed of yourself for making trash that does NOT work at all!!!...You could at least make an extension or app that DOES work...when this trash does NOT work!!!...uninstalling!!!

The only reason I use Chrome so much
I want to use voip to make a call using my headset on my computer. I love that I can click the phone numbers from a website but it tries calling my cell no matter what number I try to call. Not sure what they are trying to do with this program but a skype competitor it IS NOT. so sad google :(
