Save In helps manage and organize your downloads. It adds configurable context-menu destinations for images, videos, audio, links, selected text, and pages, and can sort and rename them automatically with rules you write once.
Features
- Build a hierarchical destination menu with aliases, separators, submenus, and a last-used location.
- Route and rename downloads with rules based on the page, source URL, filename, media type, date, counters, and other variables.
- Start from searchable rule templates, add common matchers with Quick add, insert variables and clauses with autocomplete, and test unsaved rules in the route debugger.
- Use click-to-save for quick downloads and Page Sources to find media exposed by the current page.

250828 it WAS so good and undeniably 5 stars.. until last 2 weeks from this post, suddenly saving to my usual path doesnt work. it just saves into download. the symlink nor the path folder name were changed. still exact same and yet my problem persists, i have been using this on Vivaldi for a few years btw 250910 NVM. the problem lies in this conflicting with other extension, uninstalled that one and voila!

This is the most wonderful extension I've ever used. I'm really sad that it becomes unusable after a Chrome update.

The best extension for quick downloading with a shortcut (alt+click). Also has features to add relevant info to filenames.
