Quick Tabs is a tab management browser extension for the Google Chrome web browser based on the "Recent Files" quick selector built into the excellent IntelliJ IDEA by Jetbrains.
Quick Tabs allows you to move quickly between recently used tabs without requiring the use of your mouse, locate and switch to tabs as you need them with minimal keystrokes even when you have large numbers of open tabs.

This extension is absolutely critical to my workflow. It's fundamentally changed how I organize and structure my bookmarks. As a software developer, being able to fuzzy search in my code, fuzzy search as the OS level, and now fuzzy search at the browser level, has really helped me stay organized (Especially with my level or forgetfulness). If I ever met thisplugins' author in person, I'd buy them beer, maybe even a fancy microbrew or two!
Love it, except when we search and need to put in the letter D. Then... well, it closes the window for some reason! Any thoughts on a fix? It's not a shortcut we programmed in.
just what i was looking for!
I inadvertently removed it from the extensions settings page while cleaning up those I didn't think I used. The mention of intellij DEA didn't resonate with me. When I went back to normal use of Chrome and noticed the Quick tabs extension missing off the tool bar, I panicked! That says enough for the sake of this review!
very fast and simple :) Perhaps also always show a closed tabs list 50%? Does your addon show Tab Preview per Dropdown ?
Thank you for your work currently the most usable MRU. Under linux you can edit ~/.config/chromium/Default/Preferences to set the shortcut to Ctrl+Tab The problem with this, that after the popup opens you have to release the ctrl, to switch and hit enter at the end to activate. Could you maybe change the plugin to respect ctrl+tab and ctrl release for switching and activating? That would be "Awesome" :) Thanks!
Probably the only extension I use everywhere (together with uBlock, certainly)!
excellent! my most used extension, wouldn't be without it!
Really nice extension. The only problem I have with it so far is that it focuses URL bar and every time I try to pause my music I'm entering white space in front of URL.
useless one
