# INTRODUCTION
Quick Tabs is a tab management browser extension for the Google Chrome web browser based on the "Recent Files" quick selector built into the excellent IntelliJ IDEA by Jetbrains.
Quick Tabs allows you to move quickly between recently used tabs without requiring the use of your mouse, locate and switch to tabs as you need them with minimal keystrokes even when you have large numbers of open tabs.

Perfect! Built-in "switch to mru tab" feature is better than other extensions i have tried, since this is the only one that works across multiple windows. I would like to see one shortcut for opening all visible tabs in a new window (just like how "close all tabs" works now) (with that i can uninstall another extension haha)
This is a lifesaver for not just HAVING lots of tabs, but USING lots of tabs. I think some of the negative comments here are from people who don't understand what it's for. It's not a tab manager or tree, there are many extensions for that. Quick Tabs just does one really useful thing: fast-switch recent-tab list. I LOVE the reordering of the list by my tab history. In three dot menu, more tools, extensions, hamburger, keyboard I changed the hotkey to CTL-Q for Quick. All I need to do to task switch between two tabs I'm working with, as fast as I can think, is CTL-Q then ENTER, since the list is always reverse-chron. I use Quick Tabs for moving between tabs I'm actively using, and use Tabs Outliner for managing my deep tab history in working groups. I run three businesses from one Tabs Outliner window in the background, with over ten thousand tabs grouped by topic, most hibernated and usually twenty or thirty loaded; and Quick Tabs for bopping around and getting things done. Chrome's ancient UX hasn't even close to kept pace with the way people work. Without developers like bAbymAn, we'd all be using Vivaldi.
The tabs change order all the time and it sucks imo. The order of tabs should not change, the first tab should be always first, the second should be the second and so on. Would be best if the order was exactly the same as the order in the title bar. When tabs get reordered, I get lost
greate extendsion, but I don't know why it can't show history on my chrome
I have TMTS - too many tabs syndrome :D. Without this I would not be able to navigate my tabs and find what Im looking for. Absolutely love it! A must have!
this is it!
Мега круто, то чего всегда не хватало для быстрой работы, это прыжки по вкладкам Ctrl+K и Ctrl+J
Absolutely amazing. Saved my life more times than I can think.
Very nice extension, thank you. One request: I'd like to be able to resize the list of tabs. I often have a lot of tabs and would like to see as many of them at once as possible, so it would be great to be able to make the list longer and perhaps wider too.
Great and productive tool for peeps who like opening a lot of tabs :P Don't forget to map the keyboard shortcut. I've set mine to Ctrl + Space
