Simple and easy integration and ability to have all my contacts and accounts information in the place that I spend the most of my time, Gmail. Love this intergration.
It's really good but there are too many bugs
Works well by itself, but doesn't play well with others. I have an email tracking extension (Yesware) that tracks emails the way I need them tracked. With the recent upgrade to the Salesforce extension, it now blocks my tracking extension, so I can't use it anymore in Chrome. I can use it temporarily by shutting Yesware off, reloading the page, then turning it back on again. but once Gmail refreshes, SF kicks it back off again. Other than that, the extension works well by finding Accounts, Opportunities, or COntacts to relate an email to. Has helped speed things up a bit from manually associating them through reports the old way we did it.
I really like the product. It would be more helpful if there was a setting to automatically link everyone in my emails to SF that doesn't work for our company.
Big time-saver for getting Contacts and Leads into Salesforce, but unfortunately it doesn't bring over custom fields or even all the standard ones, but it does get the job started. Since most of my communication is with email, it also makes it easy to see the last point of contact. Nice.
I love this extension. It saves me countless hours as all my emails are quickly related to the appropriate record within Salesforce. No more copy/paste. Now that I'm using it, I couldn't imagine going back.
Does everything I want it to do! Makes it so easy to log and document sales communications, and has saved me so much time!
I use this extension in a very basic way, so my review may not accurately reflect its full functionality, but for how I use it, it's perfect. I prefer to use the Gmail client when emailing clients, but I also want to keep my opportunities updated in Salesforce. This extension makes that possible and I'm very happy with it so far. I also like being able to see and edit my Salesforce tasks while in Gmail. It would be nice to be able to update multiple opportunities instead of just one. This may be specific to my needs, but sometimes I correspond with the same client regarding multiple opportunities, so this has been its only drawback for me. Still, it works very well for how I need to use it.
Easy integration with Salesforce and helps with quick additions of contacts so one doesn't have to switch back and forth with tabs and copy/paste information.
