Extension to return old Twitter layout from 2015 (or 2018). WORKS IN 2026!

This extension doesn't add any CSS on top of original Twitter. It's fully different client that replaces original new Twitter client, making it faster than alternatives that just add style on top of Twitter. This extension requires you to be logged in to Twitter account.

Please visit https://twitter.com/old/settings after installing to make it work just as you like. It switches to chronological timeline by default, you can switch back to algorithmical timeline in settings.

You can visit unchanged Twitter by visiting https://twitter.com?newtwitter=true.

this extension is absolutely awesome, after using the modern ui for a long time this one is a breath of fresh air. The old ui is soo much interesting and fun but this one has 1 major drawback that is there is no gif support however you can see other people's reply tweets with gifs but you can't attach gifs to your tweet, wth ? this feature needs to be added asap, if this is added i would easily give it a 5 star.

This extension is great, Twitter is just getting so many useless features that it makes Twitter hard to use without needing to disable the extension at times. I would wish for a lot of the features I used this for to be in base Twitter, but I know they won't be added...
